Members join Rotary Club of Nantwich to steward the car parks for the Nantwich Food Festival. The Club raised £1,000 for local charities.
The Nantwich Food Festival is an annual event with over 200 exhibitors, solely organised by volunteers.
It is free for the public to attend, and in 2018 attracted a record number of over 45,000 visitors during the 3 days.
The Wych-Malbank Rotary Club supported the Nantwich Rotary Club in running the largest of the 3 park and ride locations at The Barony, used by both visitors and exhibitors.
They assisted in directing traffic and advising public, and collecting charity donations.
At peak times, the other 2 park and ride locations were completely full and had to direct traffic the the Rotary run location, who coped well with the increased number of vehicles.
